Philippe Lecerf, originally from Normandy, settled in Sarlat-la-Canéda 25 years ago, captivated by the cultural and natural richness of the Périgord Noir. Passionate about travel, art, and architecture, Philippe designed Villa Vasco da Gama as an invitation to escape and relax. Inspired by Moroccan domus or riads, Asian gardens, and Indian and Balinese crafts, he imported unique pieces from around the world to bring this extraordinary place to life. Philippe is an attentive and helpful host, happy to share his knowledge of the region and his inspirations, while allowing his guests to fully enjoy the unique experience his home offers.
