  • 6 persons / 2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom

Réf. : 093/7567

This former 16th‑century water mill is set among vineyards along the Vidourle River, just outside the village of Saint‑Hippolyte‑du‑Fort.

On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, with space to add a baby cot, and a large bathroom equipped with a bathtub and a washing machine.
The ground floor offers a comfortable living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table, and a sofa bed that sleeps two people.

The fully enclosed garden features several quiet spots to relax, as well as a spacious terrace with a jacuzzi and an outdoor dining table.
In summer, the many trees in and around the garden provide plenty of shade and cool areas throughout the day.

From the gîte, you can enjoy numerous walks, and the charming village is only a few minutes away on foot.
It has a supermarket for everyday shopping, several restaurants and cafés, the Silk Museum, and a variety of small shops.
During the summer months, the village hosts many activities and a lively market twice a week.
There is also an outdoor swimming pool open in summer.

Saint‑Hippolyte‑du‑Fort lies at the gateway to the Cévennes, making it an excellent base for exploring the area by bike or visiting picturesque medieval villages by car.
The Hérault River is ideal for canoeing, and nearby you can also go canyoning or explore caves.

The Mediterranean coast is just about an hour’s drive away, with beautiful beaches such as Palavas‑les‑Flots and La Grande‑Motte.
The surrounding villages offer rich art, culture and gastronomy, while the cities of Nîmes and Montpellier are also well worth a visit.

All charges, cleaning and taxes are included.
