Le Mas des Deux Platanes is located in the Vaunage area, 12 km (7.5 miles) from Nîmes and about 30 minutes from the beaches, as well as Arles and Montpellier. This beautiful mas offers 290 m² of living space (approx. 3,120 sq ft), blending the charm of an old stone house with high‑end modern comfort, in a refined and understated setting.
With 3.5‑metre (11.5 ft) high ceilings throughout, the house feels spacious and airy. Original parquet floors have been carefully preserved, and stone arches add character to the sleeping areas. Stone staircases, handcrafted wrought‑iron railings and solid wood details give the property a strong sense of authenticity. Large openings allow light to flow through the house, with a smooth and natural layout that makes everyday living easy and pleasant.
The house is both warm and highly functional, comfortably accommodating 10 to 12 guests. It offers generous shared spaces while also allowing everyone to enjoy privacy and quiet when needed.
Hidden from view, the mas opens onto an exceptional outdoor area. Two majestic plane trees shade a gravel courtyard, perfect for relaxed afternoons or a game of pétanque. A very large wooden terrace sits in front of the stone building that houses the swimming pool, creating a natural extension of the living space. In the evening, string lights bring a chic, festive “guinguette” atmosphere that makes outdoor living truly special.
Events are not permitted, and pets are not accepted.
The surrounding region offers endless opportunities for discovery: seaside towns such as Le Grau‑du‑Roi, La Grande‑Motte and the medieval city of Aigues‑Mortes; the Provençal highlights of Saint‑Rémy‑de‑Provence and Les Baux‑de‑Provence; the Duchy of Uzès; Avignon, city of the Popes; and the Roman cities of Arles and, of course, Nîmes.
